Myall Beach - Free Things to do in Cape Tribulation

What you can expect

The image of horse riding on the beach has become somewhat of an icon in the Cape Tribulation area. Local operators often conduct horse riding tours along the beautiful flat beach, which is a joy for both the riders and spectators. With the luscious green Daintree Rainforest flanking one side and the vibrant blue waters of the Pacific Ocean on the other, this is the ultimate coastal paradise.

One of the most popular beaches in the area due to its easy accessibility from the nearby township, Myall Beach is the perfect place to sit back and relax while enjoying the beautiful Tropical North Queensland weather.

Come low tide, visitor numbers tend to increase as the withdrawn water exposes fringing coral reefs and rock pools perfect for exploration.

Myall Creek mouth is located not too far from the beach, however, visitors are urged to be cautious and not to go swimming as the creek mouth is frequented by salt water crocodiles.

Be sure to pack your picnic gear, beach umbrella and towels, as this is one beach you won't want to leave all day.
